Weekly Operating Rate of Primary Lead Smelters (June 28, 2025 - July 3, 2025) [SMM Weekly Review of Primary Lead Smelter Operating Rates]

This week (June 28, 2025 - July 4, 2025), the operating rate of primary lead smelters in the three provinces increased by 2.25 percentage points WoW to 68.46%. This week, the operating rates in Henan and Hunan provinces remained stable. In Yunnan province, a smelter that had been under maintenance resumed operations, while another smelter had not yet completed its major maintenance cycle. The production of the remaining smelters remained stable. Outside the sample of the three provinces, a smelter in North China that had been scheduled for routine maintenance in June carried out the routine maintenance of primary lead as scheduled. A smelter in east China maintained stable production after a slight increase in output, and another smelter in east China may implement a longer-term maintenance plan in Q4.
